Georgetown University is a prestigious private Jesuit research university located in the heart of Washington, DC, with a mid-sized student body of approximately 7,500 undergraduate students. Athletics & Sports NCAA Division I program with the Hoyas as the athletic teams' nickname. Basketball has historical prominence, with a passionate fan base and competitive men's basketball program. While not a football powerhouse, the university maintains competitive teams across multiple sports.

Lifestyle & Weather Washington, DC experiences four distinct seasons: warm summers, mild springs and autumns, and occasionally cold winters with light snowfall. The campus and surrounding area are extremely walkable, with extensive public transportation. No car is necessary, and numerous outdoor and cultural activities are readily accessible within the city and on campus.
